Ever since I installed the free vegas update I have had issues with viewing my video in the timeline. The audio track is full of static. It is as if there isn’t enough memory in the computer and the program can’t keep up with the viewing. I have to pause the video and let the program cath up and even then sometimes it won’t work. The more transitions I have and the more audio/music lines I have the worse it is. Anyone else having this problem? The video renders fine but reviewing it before rendering is annoying.

Are you saying it did not do this before the update? What audio drivers are you using? This is very odd behavior that an update would cause this.

That’s correct. I didn’t have this problem before the update. I have completely cleaned up my hard drive and the problem still exists. I don;t know which audio driver I am using but I will look for an update there too. I am loading the timeline, both audio and video files, from an external hard drive. I wonder if this has something to do with it. I will try putting them on the internal hard drive and see if the problem persists. I could also try upgrading to vegas 10
