  MiniDV transfer incorrect aspect ratio

  I use Movie Studio Platinum 9. Is there a way to find out total file size before rendering begins? Since I want to save the output file to DVD+R (4.7GB) so it would be nice to know the size beforehand.

  You should use a bitrate calculator (google it)
  In case of CBR, the output file size depends on bitrate and length.
  Roughly speaking, Size of Video or Audio in bytes = (Bits Per Second * Length in seconds) / 8 (plus some extra size for metadata, file structures etc)
