My movies have always been basic, like the old days in cinema. Cut two pieces and splice them together.

I just shot a short, and there’s a huge clock on the wall that is in some of the shots. I CAN edit it without really showing the clock. But, it’d be all around better…

I’m fully up and running. Now, I just have to learn da vinci. I’ve edited the first scene, and it works a little like Final Cut. But, FC was very user friendly. I didn’t have to look up anything in order to edit. Da Vinci is not as user friendly. But, for free, I am sure not complaining (not much anyway).

Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It was easy to install, and it worked.

Perhaps what you need the 4GB for is resolve for effects.

I’m just simple editing and eventually color correction. The correction is down the road. It’s going to be a long, slow road.

I did love the fact you can sync the sound and video in a flash. That was great.

You said it yourself, “If you know where to look.”

Customer support answered my question today, with basically the same thing. Look at the updates.

I answered them pretty dang rudely. Because they deserve it.

Common sense: I want your software. Will it work on my computer? Why in the world would I go to support updates when I don’t have…

That’s why it’s important for there to be a minimum requirement page on Da Vinci’s website. They have pretty pictures that say “minimum requirements for PC”, it doesn’t matter where you click, nothing happens. There’s nowhere on the site that gives that info.

The wrong one should be at my house on Saturday. It’ll take me a few minutes…

I think I actually figured it out with grok and a bunch of youtube video help.

All my specifications are fine except the GPU. I bought a – ZOTAC GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 64-bit PCIe 3.0 DirectX 12 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card ZT-P10300A-10L

It raises the graphics to the proper specification, and it will fit in my small form PC.…
