I wand to paste some text from my clipboard through a script.

I use pbpaste for that and it works fine.

var pasteText = system.callSystem(“pbpaste”)

But some character are not supported like ș or ş … and I get some question mark instead.

Do you know a work around for that?

A bit annoying, this limitation but after some try and error, I think I found a good solution for that.

I use CC composite to copy the layer and put in the opacity attribute an expression.

Its not absolute the same like the track layer option, but I think not bad to merge multiple layers.

I know the set matte Fx and use it a lot.

Set Matte FX respects not the InOut value from the taken layer and works not like expected.

Its a limitation and how I found CC Composite and Calculation works same.

I use Set Matte to add the alpha channel from layer2 to layer1.

But if offset the inPoint from layer2 to sec 1, I still see the alpha in layer1 from 0-1sec and actually I expected to see nothing. If I use the Track Matte this works fine.

Anybody know how I can correct this behavior?

I had tried to export it in different formats, also ProRes, always the same result.

I think is a bug on Mac, It works on Windows perfectly.

So far so good, it works and everything is in right place for 2D layers.

If the layer is 3d, after the resize the layer don’t have the right pos value, its still stay relative to the old comp size. If I resize the comp through the comp dialog everything looks correct.

The a+b works fine. The problem is the start speed of b. The tangent of b at t=1 should be the same of a. Then b slows smooth down.

Ok, think I got it.

The <b class=””>applyPreset function apply the preset to all selected layers. That means that all the layers needs to deselect. In the for iteration the layer needs to be select and then deselect after the preset is applied.

I think your calculation hold a frame 3 frames long. Its not really a frame rate Frames/Sec.

I would like to add some values to my position property.

position + A + B

Value A should be default linear.

Value B should be posterize linear by a custom frame rate.

If I use the posterize(myFrameRate) function, both values are posterized.

Maybe somebody here have an idea to realize this behavior.
