I realize the footage would look terrible, but we would be recapturing later. I just want the footage to hold timecode and reel info so we CAN recapture as a batch. Is that possible?

THe switch comes from the fact that we captured on a Avid DV system and we were going to go to Avid Adrenaline. That is what our whole company uses. Then, the client needs it rush and we can’t get into an edit bay (Avid) for 4 weeks. There are not a ton of people around our parts that have Avid, but EVERYONE has Final Cut Pro. So, I am looking for a way to go to Final Cut quickly so we can finish our rough cuts there.

Sounds like we may have to go automatic duck.
