I’m having a tough time with this filter although I have a feeling I’m missing something very simple.

How do I NEST the timecode? I selected the entire copied project, pulled it into a new sequence, highlighted everything, and selected the Timecode filter. I then tried to Superimpose the filter on a new video track. I now have the black slug screen with the timecode overriding the entire project. I can see the timecode but not my project.

I’ve tried using the FCP help but the manual isn’t very helpful.
