Let's face it. FCP 7 had a lot of problems and you'd often run into those problems. Any Editor who uses FCP day in and day out has had to become a very good troubleshooter.

and this is the Problem I find with all applications, I don’t want to solve or troubleshoot I want to create content.
But again that what Computers are there for right? Fixing them!

I would teach Editing first 😉 and then maybe Lightworks. :p
Also agree dip in all get the basis and pick your flavor.

Interesting comments, but I see a history repeat with Final Cut Pro X… I remember when Final Cut Pro hit and I was running on a Titanium Powerbook G4… most comments where Final Cut Pro (3) that time is not a professional tool and it is made for DV and Weddings… lol now look at use.

I don’t believe that the tool is major part in content creation so I will alway have two or more if needed Application on my workstation. I guess I can gave this rebirth of FCPX and see how he grows up.

I am still a big believer in full training then google knowledge. Like they Jack in all trades Master of none.

Will be starting check out some FCPX training next so I will see how well this new kid is. 😀

Ronald Lindeboom, your answer to my comment sounds like you felt attacked from em. hmmm?
A course humans are arrogant, opinionated, and rude not matter what situation which many as in myself are and where in.

Besides I am not talking about the them that “most of the time“.
Tell me what do you would call if someone asked a simple question and the answer you receive is (What a stupid question)?
