250000 downloads, doesn’t FCPX had more download which cost 300?
I have looked into light works twice this and last year.

Problem is you need the paid version to really work with it on a pro level.
But maybe after the YouTube gen. learned it will be big when they get out of school.

  • Well just put the clients timelines in a folder and don’t have that folder open or another way each clients works is on separate drive or Mac.
There was more working in the Finder in FCP 7 and down then FCPX.
For the RAM yeah a clear RAM function would be cool. The broadcast monitoring can’t really confirm since we only work in HD right.

As for working on a project in FCP7 at the same is new to me.

Not sure why it is so interesting? He really didn’t mention anything.
I can say the same I have saw latest 3D Studio Max and WOW!
    WOW what?

I think his WOW goes to this “Support for multiple frame rates conform from Apple® Final Cut Pro® XML”

    hihihihihi

  • [Mark Palmos] “Also not sure why people are still bothering about FCPX… but that’s up to them ;)”

What you mean bothering about FCPX?
Judge the content not the tool it was made on.

How is having the Project file in your DropBox difficult then caring and not forgetting a mobile drive?
On top of that as mention housekeeping?

Have the Events on the faster internal or Thunderbolt drives, on each Mac and have DropBox targeting the Final Cut Pro X folder.

Not saying your known alternative is bad but it sure is no more difficult.
I can see something like DropBox coming from Apple.. especially since Avid is pushing there online alternative.

  • Also interesting is on the Electric Entertainment page you have photo with two Apple Cinema Display and on the 3rd they are two Apple Thunderbolt display on the same desk…

Oh only in German they are using a iMac by the way who is that??

VW yes they do even trucks real trucks not these Dodge or Ford pickup toys 😉
Audi from Small to High end all the way to the none profit racing market. BMW is on the same track.
If you want to call it specialization then they are… they are specialized in given everybody a good product not just one group. 🙂
The question is Apple that smart? 😉

Yes some do this but how successfully are they? Look at the company’s especially in the Automobile market that wrote black numbers during the recent industry depression or drop… VW, Audi, BMW they did not only focus on there strong saling product but on all fronts.

Okay, well let see what real Marketing agent would see or say when you give him that example…
What of that market gets saturated and drops? Oh yeah we lost that other market.
It’s good to have big profit share but it is better to have all of them. Right?
