Seems like an odd behavior. I’ve never seen this. Are there any indicators on the clip thumbnail when viewed from the camera? Select that clip and press repair.

You can use the free P2CMS to name your clips and add metadata.

Amazing what rendering can yield. Proper monitoring on a broadcast monitor helps too.

Wrong workflow. Use Log and Transfer in FCP 7.

If you lock down (do not move or touch) your tripod while shooting, you can achieve this effect.

Shoot with someone sitting in the chair then shoot without someone in the chair.

640×480 is just a frame size.

DV, h.264, ProRes, DVCProHD are codecs.
