Surely you just select the clip, then select “open” in the clip menu, rotate it in the timeline then it’s rotated in the browser as well?

If Mac’s don’t offer what you need then of course switching is the best option, but at the moment, for me there is no reason to switch. I wouldn’t hesitate to though if I felt it would benefit my work..

Try doing that with a PC laptop! This is why I don’t mind paying more for my Macs, I’ve ALWAYS got a great price for them when I sell to upgrade.

Easily! I got out of the “more screens the better” mentality a while ago, don’t get me wrong I do like editing on big screens but the flexibility of editing on a laptop can be very useful.

Also the FCPX interface suits laptop editing very well, I don’t think I could edit on PPro on a laptop so easily.

Yep it’s all Apple’s fault, nothing to do with a bug in the software 🙂
