Yes to all questions…I use premiere.
I also did distort by adding some color correcting filters.
Do I need to change the codec in premiere to the panasonic codec?

In the format box I used the “microsoft dv” option for compression.
Exporting to the hardrive is an .avi file.
Is it better to not compress, or what is the best codec to use for standard dv ntsc 720×480 30fps, or 24fps?
It is not a 3d project, just dv footage.
