The tapes fine – Its a Sony HDCam through my M2000p Sony Deck – It happens with every clip from every machine.

    Sorry about the coffee Walter!!!!!

No Im using easy set ups – The sequence settings are right. It seems that my Black magic G5 gives me more realtime than the Intel/Kona
I must have a setting wrong somewhere?

Shouldnt I be set to safe RT? – My Array is a Huge fibrechannel so no speed issues – Ive tried DVCproHD and the KONA DVCProHD settings in sequence set up – They were digitised using a Kona on another (older)system.

    Thanks Jeremy

Does the sequence have to be an AJA DVCproHD sequence for the accelleration or will it work just as well with an Apple DVCProHD sequence?

How do I get the Kona to handle FCP fx? – I only get the FCP option in the pull down in the effect handling tab.

    Thanks David

The problem I have is that Im working on a timeline of over 600 clips – 50% HD 50% archive from as far back as the 1940s!

The offline editors have used loads of picture resizes and zooms done in the motion tab – by dropping a Motion tab Arc onto the clip I blow away all the motion attributes the offline editors done (they never Arc the footage)
So a motion tab is out – I need a high quality HD plugin. ( I have tried it using Cgm 2d plug in resizing and distorting but theres a real loss of quality)

    Ill e mail Graeme.

thanks – I need more of a plug in as its for Onlining so I need to apply the plug in to the timeline directly
