I’m sorry, I created a rectangle, not a rectangle mask.

I created a rectangle to mask, then converted to mask.

So I should convert this to a mask then chose Replace or Intersect?

I would like to note that I have the Radeon 5770 working in my Apple Mac Pro (4-core) 1st Gen. – 2006-2007 Desktop/PC with Final Cut Pro X.

Hey Sohrab,
Looks like we have similar looking results. But the skin tone and the facial skin colors just don’t seem natural. I think if I were to go in and start correcting different areas of the face with multiple mattes, I could get it right. But it’s probably not worth the time. Thanks for taking a crack at it. I have also read that due to the compression of the T2i (DSLR), things don’t color correct as well. I’m sure someone can educate me on that.

Thanks for the detailed response Ron. Unfortunately, I ‘ve kind of been down that road you recommended already. While there was decent improvement, the quality was still ify at best. I guess you can’t polish a turd. Thanks guys!
