Okay thanks. I thought it was shot in 24 but the DP shot this one section in 25 for scene in 25 it seems. I can just re-edit in on 25 fps timeline, but can it then be put in with the rest on a 24 fps timeline? I suppose I could tell Premiere Pro to re-interpret it as 24 frames in which case I will get one frame more or slow motion every second, if that’s okay?

Well what’s stopping is that I would have to do all the work all over again. Sorry I didn’t take any pics yet to show what I mean but I will.
But all the work of doing it all over again, is what was stopping me and I thought maybe there is a quicker way.
As for converting it during exporting, I tried that but the problem is, is that frames are taken out, when I convert it back to 25fps, since it was all edited on a 24 fps timeline.

No sorry, what I mean is, is that I can’t get them too touch if I move them.

Okay thanks, but Premiere will not let me manually adjust them, it just doesn’t do anything when I try to touch the frames.

Sorry it’s not that I mean to not take the advice. I actually don’t think I can shoot in L.A. cause of the money it costs to shoot movies there with permits at all. However, I could perhaps compromise and have the actors come here to do it, and pay for accommodations.
Or if I were to go to LA, how do other filmmakers do it, and get all this money to shoot with the costly permits and all, when they are wanting practice and haven’t been successful yet?

Oh okay thanks, this would be for me as well, since I like to show my work. However, you say that the famous artists, are the ones who don’t care about what people think?
Wouldn’t they want people to like what they do and think well of them though?

Well people I have talked to said not to, because it costs so much to shoot a movie in L.A. compared to hear, with permits and all. So that is why I thought it might cost more than I could afford possibly.

Oh okay thanks. I think I meant more for pitching, as oppose to already in the shooting process. Like if I wanted to pitch to not only a DP but also other potential producers and crew, early on, perhaps I should go more detailed then?
As for the shootings storyboards, I have tried the whole shoot a scene without them once, for a fight scene that had to be drastically changed, but I didn’t like the way it turned out, and prefer to do storyboards to communicate to everyone, well in advance, if that is the way to go.

Okay thanks. I would actually ask my film school professor if it’s okay to break rules in certain situations, and he said that every situation is different and he cannot tell me if one will work for one, cause it may turn out that it might not, depending on several factors.
So I guess it’s just best to use my instincts then? But what if the majority audience does not agree with your instincts though…

Okay thanks. I was told I should for my next projects, just fly in actors and crew from L.A. or a bigger city with more of an industry cause their is better acting talent there, and better DPs there, compared to where I live. Do you think that is necessary though, when it comes to finding more experienced people to make a better product with?
