there are a few ways…animate the stroke…on the stroke effect. not on shape layer strokes(clicking all masks is useful if they all start at the same location)..Or you could use those strokes as an alpha channel and simply scale a box or cirlce up from the anchor point located at the impact site….or if

Those are really thin..do they show up when on FULL? A simple choker with a very low value should be a useable workaround. Another workaround would be copying the paths in illustrator and pasting them on to solids in after effects…So there is no stroke effect on illustrator? Even if it is set to 0 if it is on it might be causing this.

you know you can turn on continutally rasterize..but then go inside and make the vector 3d come out and your camera should work

Sometimes I get the interpolation in the ramps…but most of the time i do not…and honestly I do not know why I sometimes get it..Im always in 8 bits…its the effect gradient Ramp right?..but you can change your bi deptth by ctrl clicking on the little 8bpc in the project window

Your house is bouncing down because that time remapping affected the wiggle from the nested comp. I believe if you bake that wiggle animartion into keyframes your problem might be solved…or just try to stop the wiggle right before it takes off…Also try pick whipping your wiggle on to a adjustment layer with 2 slider controls. that can be animated..this might help avoiding having 3 copies of the ship in rapid succession like you do.

Well..since you put the template up ill try to help. This template is a of a video with 100 graphics. the graphics change every 6 seconds, but the video stays the same…for what you are describing, this is not the template you want to use…I cant run through the basic basics of after effects, but if you can pick one of these titles and delete the rest i think it may help.

make sure your psd is in RGB MODE. MODE-RGB//Re import the compotision and make it editable layers…I think this may help, but i cannt really imagine what you are describing
