The only thing I have heard is that its going to be version 7. Adobe will now only release full versions evry year. guess the heat is on and they want to be ahead of all.

What ever you teach I belive PPro should be included its not just an app its part of a system that takes you from adobe story all through finnishing plus you can make your print campaign with it also.

Glad to here about the cost.
For me the cloud does not offer much I only use production premium and only encore.A/E, on location prelude and audition. So all the other programs while great are of no use to me. Besides I edit mostly my projects and sometimes there could be a span of months between them.

Would this mean that upgrades will cost double? $800.00.

I am not one of the big guys but i use to transcode from sd files. I wish its ability to do pre edits could be expanded for more clips and work like a storyboard interface. many times I need to rearrange clips and photos and its apain.

tinkering aroud I remembered that I had selected “loop” in the program monitor. I deselected it and the timeline worked. Don’t know if this was the cause but all works ok.

They have the interface design of both edit* and combustion so basicaly the woulld have to update it and write it for mac but i think it would be better if they wrote it in linux just to be safe.
I wonder if autodesk even knows what the have I am sure that most if not all of the discreet people are long gone. The last I hearrd of the combustion team they where in apple but maybe not anymore and patel and others in avid.
Just imagine smoke with a combustion interface and an a edit* for editing.
