Besides a dcp what other costs are now involved to get you content to a theater?
Do you send the dcp directly to a distributer ? Do they make print to disk?Ricardo Marty

Don’t know why you say its clunky. Its not one interface for 5 programs. Its five different interfaces one for each program that share a timeline and sources. they each have their own menu. Clunky is ae,pp,ps clunky was fcp.

After resolve eats-up adobe it will most likely go after apple with a magnetic timeline tab. lol.

Resolve is or will be in every edit,vfx,and post house across the board and across the world if not just for davinci. Something only adobe did before it overtook because of apples change of strategy. So davinci is there breathing down adobes neck. One false move and its curtains for adobe.

You could be right but an app ultimatte would not necessarily kill a hardware ultimatte. two distinct markets.
Its like fairlight app version and a full console version and davinci with panels.

Im just guessing. If BM purchased ultimatte why would they par for primatte? Im sure they will pot up to speed, mabye another tab in resolve, someday.

Apparently there will be two flavors of fusion, I got this from the bm forum.
When I asked whether Fusion was end of life as a standalone product, Blackmagic USA President Dan May clarified. Resolve 15 will not include the entire feature set of Fusion. Rather, as Dan put it, Fusion will contain a superset of Resolve 15 Fusion functionality. Fusion, then, will continue as a standalone product both in its paid and free versions. Note, though, that beginning with Resolve 15, a Fusion dongle will also unlock Blackmagic Studio giving those users who purchased Fusion an extra Resolve seat.
