Thank you all for your interesting replies.
I work in animation and post production on a PC machine so FCP wasn’t an option (although I dream of it many times…).
The majority of my work is done in AE so I have production pro CS4 and can’t live without Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash for some animation and web tasks; So I assumed the financially logic thing to do is to use PPro. But apparently money has no place when one seeks perfection. -

Thats good news, and yet, jest out of curiosity- couldn’t Adobe Premiere Pro operate the hm700’s .mov files?

But when it comes done to picture quality, the 700 HD should be better than the 250 hdv, right?

Would you say the HM700 reasult is equivlent to the hd250, or better, or worse?

Can’t Premiere pro use the .mov files? I used some .mov files with Premiere, are the ones delivered by the jvc 700 any different than regular .mov files? -

I was having a hard time choosing a camcorder but now I realy think the hm700 is the way to go.
