I am using a clip that I already imported into FCP and if I look at the source TC in QT Change, it shows me 00:00:00:00 which makes me think maybe no meta data exists with the timecode after the import? Am I wrong here?

I cannot figure out how to use QTChange to find the original timecode. If I choose source timecode with a clip in there, the time code is 00:00:00:00 which I dont want, and creation time doesnt give the right time code either.

Do you know what I need to do? There is no guide to the software online.

I just bought a Canon XA70. Last time I bought a camera, it was the Canon XA-10 and i bought this book for it which was super helpful.

I don’t see anything like that for the Canon XA-70. Am I wrong? Any books one would recommend for learning the camera?

Simple question. But I worry the answer isnt simple. I have subtitles and need to make a SRT file for Youtube. (I don’t want to use Youtube automated subtitles cause the language is not easy to make out).

What’s the best way to make an SRT file?

I have a picture ready to send for sound and I need to send an OMF or AAF. Does FCPX still not do that? If not, am I right my only option is X2Pro?

In the browser, it shows the clips by date with the newest clips first. I can sort by day, but only within a day. It still stays, overall, with newest first.

I want to have oldest first. Is there a way to do that?
