I had this problem with Trapcode plugz in Leopard. I managed to fix this with help from a Cow post (sorry I can’t point you directly to it) but basically it said to move the trapcode plugz folder to a different location. Apparently the ‘mediacore’ folder is where Trapcode likes to live in Leopard. Here’s where mine is…

library/applicationsupport/adobe/common/plugins/CS3/mediacore/

Hi there – this solution is certainly an option, and it is one I have tried too. There is however something I would try before going to all the trouble of stripping out components and reinstalling.

Go to the ‘compressor’ menu and ‘reset background processing’ then quit compressor, restart and create a new batch. This works for me 9 times out of 10.
