The artists I’ve heard about that are in that range I think on just commissions, but since I don’t know them personally, I can’t say for sure if that is on top of a base salary.
But, I have friends who own post houses and it seems like salaried positions pay less then positions that have a commission attached to it. For example, an salaried editor at a company will top out at 25% of their yearly billings.

The truth is, there are so many variables, and each situation is unique, that it is hard to give a number that would apply to everyone.

For experienced talent it is usually based off of billings. I’ve heard of some artists getting north of 30% of their annual billings.

I’m going from Sunday til Tuesday.

My plan for the show floor is to hit three or four specific vendors. I’ve already mapped them out so I know where I need to go. Generally, I like to take my time and window shop as I walk by booths on my way to my next destination. This work for me, since I only am looking at Post gear… I’m not sure how well it would work if you were to trying to more then Post gear.

Personally, if I think a hotel might have bed bugs, or anything else living in the bed, I wouldn’t stay there.

I think thats why they give you free booze in vegas, so you dont think about where you are putting your head.

Don’t stay at Circus Circus… Maybe it’s my irrational hatred of clowns, or that it’s kinda run down, but I wouldn’t stay there.

Me and my family are just starting to get over the H1N1.

I’m the type that normally dont get sick, but the H1N1 knocked me on my @ss. Our contingency plan at work is this: I go to work anyways and do as much work as I can before I get too tired and go home.

I’ve never had a flu shot in my life, and that has worked for me until this year….
