Thanks for your reply John. I never thought of switching out the tubes. I love the idea but we don’t have the budget. Is there a color temp solution for the flurescents using gels? I always thought that flurescents differ too much in color from tube to tube too corect using gel. Is that corect?
As of now it looks like I will have my back to the windows. The good news is that the producer for this is also the editor and he is going to be on site. So at lease he will know what’s in store when it comes time to color corect in post.

I think they do that it to catch the attention of the viewer and create excitement. Bleeding ears will do that.

With this client everything is via the web including the finished product. I have had the garbage in / garbage out talk with them 3 or 4 times.
I request uncompressed AVI or QuickTime and they send me compressed 360 x 240 Mpeg. I blow it up to full frame, render, edit, and send them back a Sorenson compressed 360 X 240 and they have been happy. They don

November 16, 2005 at 6:29 pm in reply to: LaCie FW 800 Connection Inexplicably Tanked. Possible Mix Down ProblemDoes the little blue light on the front of the drive look like it’s blinking fast? If it blinks all the time, not just when it is accessing data, it means that something is wrong with your drive. It happened to me last year. Thankfully, in my case it was just the lacie box, not the drive it self, so my data was safe. I ended up pulling the drive out of the Lacie box and installing it as an internal hard drive. It
