You didn’t really understand what I was saying there. Maybe I should have been way more brief. Here let me repeat myself again and then I will explain myself: ” So I have the original footage and a X blows up which is a mask”
I have created a TEXT object and that text is just an X. I might have used a + or an O but no I have used an X. The X is a MASK.
That is all. So no I am not using any trail version. Got an Adobe Creative Cloud license.
Basically what I have meant to say: It is very simple masking and nothing fancy at all so it shouldn’t take a long while to render. I am also displaying single images (text object which is an X) which show up for a few frames. -
It’s just some very simple masking. So I have the original footage and a X blows up which is a mask that shows some still picture inside the mask. That’s all. No rocket science.
Some other parts are tracking with a Null Object where I put Xs (text object) at certain points. -

October 7, 2015 at 9:34 pm in reply to: how to animate exploding leaves / growing plant animation?here is the same effect again this time without any stuff on it and better quality. do you really think motion sketch was used on every single leave? i mean every leave goes to another direction. i also wouldnt know how to animate the spawning of those leaves. its some masking or something. any advice is welcome. thanks.

October 7, 2015 at 9:33 pm in reply to: how to animate exploding leaves / growing plant animation?can you suggest any good trapcode tutorials to me that will let me pull off this effect? i have also uploaded the effect to youtube. i mean first the stuff appears and then it flies away. the appearing is just some clever masking? wouldnt even exactly know how to pull off that masking / the growing of the leaves

October 2, 2015 at 9:46 pm in reply to: how to create multicam by hand and switch between cameras (nested)?I have looked at multicam tutorials on youtube and I see people have a RED frame around their camera shots while I only get a yellow one. Does this mean something? Like: red working and yellow: there is a problem?
Or what do those colours stand for? Is it like the render colours? -

October 2, 2015 at 9:42 pm in reply to: how to create multicam by hand and switch between cameras (nested)?Okay I have figured it out. I just took all my clips. Said : multiclip but didn’t use audio but starting point and moved the stuff around myself.
Now I am back in my main time line. I see my multiclip window with the YELLOW frame around one camera shot and I click on it, I click on another one a bit later but NOTHING HAPPENS. Shouldn’t Premiere automatically do the cuts / edits?! -

September 10, 2015 at 1:30 pm in reply to: create Cardiac monitor / heart rate monitor/ ECG / EKG wave form?Still my question is: How would I make something like posted in the video above. How do I make that point follow that line?

September 9, 2015 at 11:49 pm in reply to: create Cardiac monitor / heart rate monitor/ ECG / EKG wave form?I know that it will be a woman sitting in front of a computer and she reacts to stuff. There will be 3 lines (sweat, heartbeat, eye movement or something) shown at the same time. Since 3 different coloured lines are supposed to be shown at the SAME TIME (and I do not know how to time all this. Getting the timing right on such a thing sounds very time consuming) I figured I render out a normal version and a version with a lot of peaks for every colour (for all those 3 lines so 6 exports in total) with an alpha channel and then I just swap it from normal mood to extreme mood. That would have been my idea or is there a better way to solve this?
Maybe have an entire graph move from the left to the right and then I mark ALL the ups and downs and just mask it and make it move along for the entire sequence but that sounds like way too much work for editing an entire piece (about 6 minutes) plus graphics in one day.

September 9, 2015 at 7:20 pm in reply to: create Cardiac monitor / heart rate monitor/ ECG / EKG wave form?I do not have any storyboard or anything like that. I am doing the animation (AE) and the video editing as well. I do not know the footage yet but I have been told “there will be 3 differently coloured waves to show fear, excitement and heart beat. so you will have some footage of a person and their different emotions”. That’s all I know so far and I am not perfectly sure what would be the best way to do this. I guess maybe render out 3 different waves with different peaks and an alpha and combine those?
