    Well I couldn’t figure out how to use compressor, but I was able to convert with Quicktime. Looks like that worked!

    When I open or import any of my mp4 clips and go to File > Export, the “Using Compressor” option is grayed out. The only ones that aren’t grayed out are “Quicktime Movie,” “Using Quicktime Conversion,” “Batch List,” and “XML.”

    I must be doing something wrong here, but I don’t know what.

    I see that Quicktime has an option to convert to DV. Could I do it there or is the Compressor in Final Cut Pro better quality?
