Thanks for the detailed email. I already tried to take the sequence out of the productions workspace and I even thought about exporting on chunk… but then I managed to get this issue fixed.. every time before export I dump the media cache and that worked 🙂

I can’t see myself learning from scratch on resolve. also when I hit view older versions I can’t see anything older than 23.. thats what I meant.. contacted adobe and they are sending links…

So I just did a fresh install on my OS and I need to install Premiere 22 since we are 3 people working in a Productions Environment. Creative Cloud app doesnt allow me to install anything older from CC23 and I need 22. help! any ideas how to move forward?

Recently when I switch from camera angle 1 to camera angle 2 automatically additional cut is generated. This is something I’ve never experienced before and it’s very very very annoying. Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

It’s been a while since I worked with Avid and many things may have changed. does anyone know if Avid has an option to transcribe the audio like Premiere? I have mixed searches so I wanted to ask.

I have a situation when a merged clip is on a sequence, but the video is deleted.. so I only have 2 audio tracks. when I frame match only audio shows up in my source window.. and no video.. so its impossible to recover the deleted video. any ideas?

Howdy.

Has anyone been working with Transcriptive for Premiere? I been working with Avid’s Script Sync for years and it works great, however I prefer Premiere’s workflow. So with that said what’s your take on Transcriptive?

I need to output a screener that has two switchable audio sources. Lets say I have a master Spanish audio file and a separate master English audio file. I need to output with the idea that the viewer can select which language to play.

1. How do I do that?

2. Can I export in h264 or only QuickTime?

So I have audio and video that have different timecode and no slate. many many files from the dailies that need syncing. I can do the job file by file, however is there a way to line up multiple video and audio files on a timeline and sync automatically without doing the job one by one?

So I have ProRes 4444 with alpha that I am trying to import into the project (no AMA). When the file transcodes there is an mxf file on the finder level, however no file in the bin.. I am sure something is wrong and I need to troubleshoot..

what is the best way to ingest and transcode alpha .mov?

yes I am running a test now.. to be honest I wish Avid was little bit more up to date when it comes to re-linking and media managing but there is no perfect world in the post world so we all work with what we have and know ☺ thanks for your time!
