This is entirely subjective and a matter of taste, but… The zoom in and out seems startling and jerky to me. Visual whiplash.
I think I would do the same heavily motion-blurred “zoom”, but to a part of the image not in the exact center, and scale the bridge shot up rather than down. That would create the impression of a super-fast flight from from the current location to the bridge.
There’s one pointless opinion for you.

Have you tried tracking points in the shot using the 2D tracker, rather than tracking the camera? If the shot only pans, that should give you something to lock your 2D strokes down with.

I guess I’m not clear on what you are asking.
You can shift keyframes in time in the graph view the same way you can in the timeline.

It just looks like one camera, one light, one large, dark area. Maybe they had a studio with a black wall, but you could even do this outdoors at night. Brightly light your guy from the side so that no light falls on anything visible in the background. Expose for the bright areas. Exposing for the brightest areas makes the darkest areas fall away to black. You might need to tweak that in post to get the contrast just the way you want it.
As for the black and white and “gritty” (or grainy), those effects are easy enough to get in Premiere or whatever you use to edit it. Same with the titles.

You need to adjust the animation curves using the graph editor. That way you can get any sort of motion you want.
If you’ve never used the graph editor, just Google “after effects graph editor tutorials” and you’ll find lots of lessons.

Try turning on motion blur.

Right-click on your audio layer and under Keyframe Assistant, choose, “Convert Audio to Keyframes.” Then connect whatever property you want to affect to them with an expression.
Search for “convert audio to keyframes in After Effects” if you need to see a tutorial on how to tweak it afterwards.
