thanks this is very helpful. I think the banding is introduced in the original 7D footage and not post since I’m able to see it in my monitor. In this situation is there anyway to fix it? Would using a different picture profile such as neutral make it less noticeable?

earlier i had tried the fast blur in and out it didn’t work. I just booted up my computer now everything is working fine. Before i rebooted my computer that didn’t help but a complete shutdown took care of the problem. Thanks anyway.

I must be going crazy it does interface with the inputs on the H4n. I just eyeball it and thought it wouldn’t work. sorry my mistake heh! I’ll give it a try and see how it goes.

im using a 3-Pin XLR male to 3-Pin XLR female audio cable
the male end of the audio cable doesn’t interface with the
H4n LR/TRS combo inputs that’s why I was using the
adapter. ok so i need a XLR-XLR cable with
no adapters or connectors. Brian if it’s not

yeah same cable i also had a spare tried that but didn’t help.
just wondering if it could be the 1/4 connector from radio shack Lo-z balance to hi-z unbalance. it’s a male to female connector that goes on the end of the cable.-kaj

hi, yes it’s just for wide screen aesthetics.
output is 1920X817 24P(2.3501 Aspect ratio) I’d like to frame each shot according to taste before rendering to custom aspect ratio then I’d like to output for the web (Vimeo)
I was able to do this easily in Vegas in project panel but I haven’t figured out how it’s done in PP5. here’s a sample of what want to do.

Yes that’s the way I’ve been doing it on Vegas within the project settings. The idea of creating various sequence within a project is still a mystery to me there’s noting like that in Vegas.
