More detail – the clips came from a Canon gl-2 and were written directly onto an FS-4PRO dte drive, no DV tape involved at any time. That dte drive connects to a pc via FireWire and is mounted just like any other external drive. It is running a FAT32 partition internally. has anyone tried this sort of thing with Vegas, are there setup or format issues with direct-to-disk recording? Thanks, JR
