    Tim,
I am heading to the studio this morning and I will give it a try.
You don’t by chance have anything else plugged into the Firewire Bus do you…
Try the ALL Frames and Entire Media in ‘Print to Video’.
    Just some first thoughts.

I will get back to you today.

    Hey Jimmy,
Well 1/3 isn’t going to ‘smoke’ any 2/3.
I think it comes down to what you have to spend.
Are connecting to a switcher and going straight to broadcast or just shooting?
    HDSDI out is great!!
You can get a JVC HD250 for under $6K.
    What a tough choice…

    Hey Matt,
Do you only have one HD110u?
If so, just get a Firestore and dump straight into FCS2.
I am all with you about using the cam for import…

    Good luck!

    Hey Tim,
Now that you mention it, I don’t think I’ve printed back to HDV tape in a while either.
Assuming that you have everything set to playback to Firewire correctly, try refreshing the A/V devices and just double check. try setting the frames to ALL. Just an idea, don’t think it affects printing to tape but maybe. Do this by hitting (APPLE) & (F12). I will check tomorrow! Haven’t ever had a problem with that feature but it has been some time since printing back to tape.

    Good luck.

    Hey Michele,
The JVC HD100/110u are great, specially if you prefer the shoulder mount style. If the majority of your work is going to SD DVD this camera is wonderful. Shoot and Edit in HDV then export once you’re finished and it looks stellar. The hard drive is a great option and once you can afford it get it. It’s a time saver, that’s it. If you have some time to spare then use the $1300 and get some lights. Shooting progressive is sooooo nice. Check out the Pro’s of this camera series: Tim Dashwood and Paolo Ciccone. They’ve created many spot on scene files FREE for the JVC line of cams. I use the Fujinon 13x lens and it does spank the 16x stock lens.
Let me know if you’re interested as I have several HD100’s and am contemplating selling one, just don’t use all of them all the time…

    Hope this helps!
