    Hi Dave,

My mistake. I am using CS4. I use this with Snow Leopard. Sorry for the omission.

    Hi Richard,

It’s late here on the island so I will check the stats and report back tomorrow.

Thank you very much for your quick reply.

If you feel it will help I will reload Lion.

There is also a problem with my keyboard; the number pad numbers will not respond on Lion but will on Snow Leopard.

Also, if I log in as another user the problems go away.

    Your thoughts?

My last flash update was June 28, 2015. As I said earlier, upgrading to the latest browser would cause the loss of old editing software. Other suggestions?

    Thanks

Strange but true. I will try to get a screen grab for you which you may be able to tell you more.

I forgot to mention that I have partitioned my 1tb drive to enable me to have Lion and Snow Leopard. My Photoshop and other apps will not work on Lion or other upgrades.

And, yes I have tried the same test using Firefox. I steer clear of Chrome, Opera and others. I don’t like the way they work.

    Thanks

This is a grab showing the block on other videos; news, sports, etc.

Thanks Abraham. The trouble is the tutorial never loads. I have left it as long as five minutes before giving up. I’m given to think there may be a bug/virus on my mac pro because of several other oddities that occur. I say this because the tutorial does load/play on my MBP which runs the same software as the mac pro; Lion. I’ve been Leary about upgrading to yosemite for fear of loosing stuff.

    Thanks

Here is the one I was trying to load. But I ran into the same block on others as well.

Thank you, Dave, for your reply.

I have been a loyal participant of the cow’s tutorial for many years. This is the first time I have been not allowed to continue. I was attempting to review Rob Mizes’ tutorial on ‘3d cube’ when I encountered the block. I clicked on the lesson and it immediately went to a screen I was not used to seeing. In the upper left corner was a script stating that it was loading. The screen also indicated, with an ‘arrow’ that I clicked on. It then went to another screen which appeared to be some sort of commercial. Then I clicked on the full screen itself which opened another screen from LG which was not what I was hoping for. Trying to perform a ‘work-around’, I tried different tutorials; photoshop, for instance. I received the same results. Then I used the disk recovery to fix the preferences as well as closing out safari and re-starting. I even tried using firefox. But had the same results.

I use safari, 6.1.6 primarily for my browser. I also tried to access using the latest firefox search engine. I’m running with a mac pro; 36GB with 8 cores.

Don’t know if the above is sufficient but please let me know if you need other information to help resolve this problem.

    Thanks again,

    John

I ran the test and it showed a poodle with the caption: vulnerable. I assume that is a bad thing.
