Thanks very much guys. Since there are reasons a prompter isn’t practical in this situation, but they’re too much to get into here, I’m hoping the “Eye Direct 16×9” John S. suggested will work. Thanks much John!

I’m really hoping it’s not called that because it only works with 16×9. I need both aspect ratios since, right now, the signal that’ll reflect to the talent is a 4×3 DirecTV signal of TV broadcasts that’ll eventually be 16×9. The camera shot of the talent also needs to remain switchable between 4×3 and 16×9. I obviously have no control over the TV broadcasts so I can’t make what’s reflected black and understand that, as well as the other problems this will cause … just dealing with clients who want what they want and have this attitude – just do what I tell you and happily accept blame for the problems (which all happen to result from the same things you tried to warn us about) or we’ll get someone who will, any questions?

    Thank you kindly, sir.

Your second point about anamorphic video is what I was getting at. I assumed that the necessary equipment is more standard. I guess the expense is on me to get a 16×9 delivery format, not to mention HD.
