Aha. I can describe my little workflow 🙂

Record video with FRAPS -> .avi
Clip e.t.c in Premiere Pro 2.0 together with some .mp3.
File -> Export -> Movie -> DivX -> Doesn

Aha.. but why is it then possible to render with it if it?s not supposed to be used that way? If I render with e.g. cinepack (or what it´s called..) and have DivX installed, is the movie then “watched” (decoded?) with DivX?

What would you recommend that I render with? I have tried a few standard codecs but it?s always bad quality and large filesize, and very few options in the codec to change. When I have used DivX in AE, which don?t always work (dunno when it works and when it doesn?t work) I have gotten good resaults. High quality and low filesize.

Is Xvid used for rendering or only for watching?..
