When dragging clips between Libraries in FCPX, it creates duplicates of the clips that are already in the destination. h</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a multi-day shoot (like 30 days) of a 16-episode series (multicam, dual system audio). Thousands of clips.</p>

It works there but not not when exporting back to FCPX.</p>
<p>You&#8217;re right. I&#8217;ll assemble the rough cut in Resolve using the transcript and then reassemble it in FCPX. Shouldn&#8217;t take more than a couple of hours. </p>

The idea of using Resolve for text editing came AFTER I had already made some organization inside FCPX, hence the cumbersome attempts for roundtripping.</p>

<p>I have used BMD Proxy Generator to do this in the past with FCPX without any issue. It just doesn&#8217;t work now with 10.7.1. </p>
<p><span>I like that it retains the original folder structure, which FCPX does not do. On the off chance some files have the same filename, this doesn&#8217;t lead to FCPX confused or appending numbers to the clips.</span></p>

<p>How can I set a default preset for my exports? I&#8217;m exporting a LOT of Adobe Character Animator files (video with audio and alpha) and I just don&#8217;t want them to be the default Cineform files as they don&#8217;t play in QuickView and generally suck in MacOS. </p>

I do mostly multicam edits (kids&#8217; TV shows) and without fail, clips come out of X2Pro desynced, all over the place, some are missing (NOT disabled in FCPX)&#8230; The screenshot is pretty typical. Unless I manually flatten the multicams, I get faulty AAFs, but that&#8217;s no way to live&#8230;</p>
