The piece is recorded and mixed in simple 2 channel stereo. I will try the EQ approach. There are no sound effects that would benefit from the very low frequencies. Since there is a lot of dialogue and interviews, I am concerned that the audio might get “muddy” in a more dynamic environment like a theater. Thanks for the advice.

Appreciate the help. I have the green cable connected to the monitor and the analog output set to composite+YC. The frame rate and the output are both set to SD and all I am trying to output to the monitor is a default signal generated by the Kona Control Panel’s “Control” menu. Will call AJA after the holiday. Thanks again, Jim

Well, I will be the first to admit, I do not know what I am doing with the Kona 2 and appreciate the help. As I read the documentation the 9-pin D connector cables (the upper connection on the card) outputs analog composite, component, or RGB video. I followed the suggestion and only have attempted to get decent color bars from the Kona Control Panel. There are three analog cables, typically arranged Red-Green-and Blue for component video. The Red is labeled Pr/R/C. The Green is labeled Y/G/CVBC. The Blue is labeled Pb/B/Y. I have tried connecting each. The Green gives me color bars in color, but very distorted with a lot of noise. The Blue gives me a black and white version of the same, and the Green gives me nothing (well a red=blue-green scrolling candy cane.) Once again, I appreciate the help! Jim

I downloaded the latest software from AJA website. Jim
