hey michael, with regards to the lcd adaptor, im fabricating one that will work better shooting on or off the tripod.
my question is, im having trouble finding a company that makes diopters.
im designing mine in a way that similar to the ex3 eyepiece. someone has to sell that component with the eyecup/magnifier. googled but having no luck.
the hoodman is better than nothing, but not the ideal solution, especially when youre coming from shooting shoulder mounts and on a tripod, its so much easier for panning/tilting using that big viewfinder.
i will get this modification down to what everyone out there wants.
working with fabricator on the part going from lcd to viewfinder.

im left eyed too, and ive heard the same problem with the shoulder brackets not making it easy to put your eye against it.
i also noticed on the one i shot with which was out of the box, that i had to turn up the brightness on the vf to +20 for it to be equal to what i was shooting
i may have to master the vf, since its easier to do tripod movementw with your eye against that.
what shoulder bracket is everyone using with it thats not a mess like the ones with a vest and double shoulder braces/handles, thats kinda ridiculous.
philip bloom reviewed one from miticorp that was pretty basic.

question is how are eng users that have gone to the ex1r adjusting to shooting on sticks viewing lcd? and has anyone tried the hoodman loup and does it give the support against your eye to make panning/tilting as easy as when shoot with an eng vf.

the feed from the board was wired, i turned off the wireless channel in my editing and used the board feed, but the ambient is there, althoug his audio is good because of the direct feed. can i do anything in sound forge? anywhere else?

im talking about the recent handhelds, namely the z1 forward, ive heard the ex1 and ex3 arent as good as the panasonics, even the dvx100 has had some features in 24p that looked good. i know the big boy sonys are good with 24p.
