I just got Vegas Pro 8 and I was reading the End-User License Agreement and I was wonder if someone could elaborate on this: You may not use the Software for any purpose that: (a) infringes the copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, right of publicity or any other right of a third party, (b) is or may be libelous, defamatory or slanderous, or (c) any other us that is illegal in nature.

I kind of get what it’s saying, but could someone elaborate further please? Thanks.

I tried the Effectslab Pro demo and decided that I want to get Action Movie Essentials instead. Does anyone know how you get the special effects off the DVD?

With Essentials, don’t you do the special effects in the program? If that’s the case, can I put the video back into Vegas Pro?
