D’oh thought this was the vimeo video circulating everywhere…
“Article”…reading is hard

I think Bill Hicks had a few choice words for those in PR 😉
PR and ethics really don’t belong in the same sentence…neither does journalistic integrity and PR…
But hey, I’m just a jaded consumer of shiny new toys where the hype has never lived up to the preached expectations…and PR stands kitty corner to propaganda….so take that with a grain of salt…

God help us…(no, I’m not talking to you Steve)

Found a good read on it…

Still…blech.
I typically don’t comment on things I haven’t tried. I stayed away from this app as I have heard over and over while $50 is a good investment for this feature, it’s rather a soft update to the old version…which I use at least 1-2 times daily and don’t want to bugger my current workflow on something that needs time to illuminate bugs/issues…

Yup. In a few short hours this has gone viral. It’s everywhere…
I just hope it sounds like nails down a chalkboard on Apple’s Monday morning hangover

Is this a funny?
Are you piling on?
What possible reason could they have for keeping this in 32…
The hits just keep on coming…next you’ll tell me xFC corrupts Adobe software

June 27, 2011 at 2:48 am in reply to: One day with Final Cut Pro X and I’m convinced…Maybe I used my analogy wrong? What I meant by the emperor has no clothes was the product itself *appeared* and was *presented* as something to get excited about, but once dropped and we got our hands on it…oh boy..

[Ted Levy] “But the fact remains that all the Final Cut Pro software ever sold and its attendant hardware are but a tiny drop in the bucket of Apple’s revenue, especially now”
I don’t know how you can call this “fact”. Even the most conservative estimate of 1.5-2 million users x$1000 hardly seems like a “drop in the bucket”. I have been seeing your argument more often than not with never any substantial data to back that up. And even if it were true, the branding of their pro division would benefit far greater than any targeted marketing. Google loses an astounding amount of money on youtube (over a million a day by some estimates) but the branding and marketing from that ownership pays itself in dividends by their own admission.

There was a standing ovation; what was that for? I understand that the room was full of professionals. Really? Were they ‘ovating’ the way the folks on stage presented? Were they ‘ovating’ the quality of the overhead projector?”
Oh brother…
It really has been like banging your head against a wall here the last couple of days…the cherry picking (just for the sake of arguing) has been astounding…
I’m sure you’ll figure it out…maybe start from the beginning of my post…
