I would try Boris BCC Continuum Units 3D Objects which works well within Vegas. It is a very flexible plug-in. I have been experimenting with it and they have many tutorials on their web site. Of course it would all be done with key frames but I believe it is doable.

Ok, I see what you mean, I tried it again and you can size the cookie cutter but rectangle grows in all directions. The plugin Graham recommended looks like it fits the need. Too bad Vegas did not add X and Y scaling to the cookie cutter. Sorry for the confusion. I liked the FBmn Border so I purchased it tonight. You never know when you will need it so for the $22 it was worth it and it works in Vegas 14!

Yes it does! Just adjust the settings including the size slider. I tried it last night with various sizes.

I also do not like the icons all black, give me a choice. I rather have then look good in color.

I think I have your answer and it is easy, use the cookie cutter in Vegas. I saw this video and tried it and it works! Very easy!

I have experienced a couple of program crashes with Vegas 14 Pro but only when trying to apply certain 3rd party plugin’s. I upgraded to VEGAS Pro Suite for the included plugins that are worth it to me, saving quite a bit of cash. I believe they will correct the issues that cause the crashes over time and felt the money was well spent as who knows if they will give this offer again.
