The short answer is YES.
There have been a NUMBER of EDL changes for 2.0. A number of them dealing with 29.97 to 23.98 conversions. And for me personally, EDL was one of the areas that we deemed very important to fix. Additionally, the new EDL exporter and Importer has the traditional EDL callout tags to denote which timecode values are NON-DROP FRAME and DROP FRAME.
I will export an example and paste it to my next reply.
