For reference: I have a bunch of dslr footage and I converted it to dnxhd using the rgb colorspace option

I see a difference between the source and transcoded version in QuickTime. I haven’t brought it into avid yet.

Just this side of dandy. I was hoping to be able to add comments while adding other clips to the bin. I guess, as you say, there is no way to do this.

To be fair they have adapted. Never before have they allowed other hardware in on the scale they are now. That is a big step. Now the price has to come down. Next their shared storage methodology or systems they sell need to be more open and/or affordable.

How the hell could the performance be better than FCP with Aja when it was perfect – never an issue

The link is no longer valid and I do not see the Apple Script. I am on a mac so I would need the Apple Scrip version – can you help?
