If you don’t have the luxury of an external timecode
generator, you can still help Vegas Pro software make your syncing task easier by synchronizing the time stamps on each camera before you shoot. If you’ve done this, add your media to the timeline, select each event that you want to synchronize, and choose Tools | Multicamera | Lay Out Tracks Using Media Date/Time Stamp . This method is a little less exact than using generated timecode because each camera’s time setting could be slightly off, but it’ll get you very close and you can manually make any minor adjustments that you need afterwards.Cool… but when I import files from Canon 5D, the time stamp column in project media is empty and the option doesnt work.

what plugins are you talking about? Yu mean Vegasaur? It surely does some things but its still not perfect.

OK and when you want to copy it once again and tweak it a little bit, you have to save it once again… endless preset saving. Then you loose control which preset is used on which event.
They should implement an option of copying one fx, not all event properties along with pan/crop adjustments. Simple as that.

Steve, I want to copy a specific fx between events. Creating presents is an option, but not ideal. In fact… far from ideal.
Sometimes you adjust fx after you apply them, so they bacome different from your preset and you want to copy them.
It’s strange Sony team hasn’t implemented this yet.
