I’ll recommend you to work all inside the plug-in. If you have InvigoratorPRO you can import the 3D object. Create a box inside it’s easy and if you do that you can interact in real 3D space with all the objects.
Basically, as Invigorator works in a 2D layer, your interaction with other 3D layers will depend on the layer order, not the 3D space.
The only workaround would be to mix layers, as you’ll do it in Photoshop or Illustrator to fake the in-front and behind the object.
I hope this helps

October 17, 2011 at 8:49 pm in reply to: Steady Cam and Tripod with or without image stablizer? If you have a tripod, you don’t need the stabilizer.
It will cause you trouble NOT when the camera is steady, but when you do a movement, like a tilt. The stabilizer will try to get your image steady when you start the movement, until it can’t, so you’ll get an ugly jump in your movement.
This will happen differently on different cameras. It depends on the velocity of the movement.
I don’t know about steady cams, but it should be the same.

Money will depend on the market you are targeting and your negotiations skills.
VFX will get you well paid jobs, but you’ll need to pay for expensive equipment and software. Great web design can be made with free tools and a cheap computer, so maybe a little job can get you fast and easy money.
You create your own job, my grandpa used to say.

September 19, 2011 at 4:26 pm in reply to: P2 file structure + missing lastclip.txt fileDid you read the manual for your camera? I had a problem, once, with P2 formatted clips recorded directly on a hard drive. I opened the drive and copied the files and all was a mess. Reading the manual I found that the HD had an option for exporting the files and that created the CONTENTS folder with the traditional structure.

There are some extensions of WordPress that backup your database automatically. It’s suggested that you create a new email account for just that, the backups.
I haven’t used cPanel, but in the page I found a Demo and tested it.
In the Databases section you can select phpMyAdmin, a new window will open.
Choose the _wordpress database
Now select the Import panel
Press the Browse button and choose the backup of the DB in your computer, then press OK.
This will import your database to your server. I haven’t do this process in a while, so I may be missing something, but that’s basically what you do for restoring a DB.

The cheapest thing you can get is to hire a professional web designer that understand SEO, give yourself the time to create a site with amazing content and give it some time to attract visitors.
There are many tricks to be noticed online, for example you can add videos to youtube with good content relative to your site and links to it. But, you need to actually produce videos with good content. That may not be cheap.
Social Networking, as Mads says, are on vogue right now, but they are changing every day (Facebook just re-structure themselves like a month ago) and it’s a full time job, that’s why those services are not cheap. But it’s a hell of a fun to learn how to do it if you want to invest your time there.
The question is like “How much does a party cost?”. There are hundreds of variables that can change the budget from $50 to $50,000.
But again, for a start, be sure you have a great site (content) designed by a pro that understands SEO.

Emh, guys, this is not the place for this.
You need to go to the jobs section, as Mads said.
