  • Correct. How could I change the clips anyway? I mean, how does FCP know that what I captured is progressive?

  • Yes, they match… Its the first time Im shooting progressive, so there might be something else that Im doing wrong. What do you need to change, other than lower to none in the sequence settings, when youre dealing with progressive footage?

    Such a beginner’s mistake… Thanks for your answer. You were right…
    I thought i had read somewhere that quicktime 7 turned high quality on by default, but didnt bother to check if it was the case.
    Well then, my question is: how can you have fcp output quicktimes that have high quality turned on by default?
