    Thank you,

The Color corrector secondary definitely skipped by me – however if I want to choose just the blue by selecting that range in the color wheel – do I have to open another Color corrector secondary tab to work on the greens and so forth for the inidividual colors? Because if I click another color it just changes that color and gets rid of the blues I was working on. OR is it possible to do all the colors separately in one single Color Corrector secondary tab

Also I dont know what you mean by option two –

Thank you for this – Is there a way to scroll through all of the individual LUTs without having to keep clicking browse then click the folder say for example “Kodak” then have to click the .cube file then start all over to see what the next one looks like – I know I can make presets to scroll in Vegas but that would be time consuming to manually create all 300 luts that I have.

Just noticed when I export my 60p as the Internet Main Concept 1080 preset it changes it to 30frames. Vimeo has just started accepting 60fps playback, so I just changed that 30 to 60 –
But a lot of friends have told me the the audio plays back but the video comes to a standstill while the audio plays…not buffer. Even my fast and hard drive free galaxy s5 phone cant handle the playback. I would expect this from 4k but not 60p. Should I st alright just staying with the 30 frames? That will help in loading time as well, correct?

Actually sorry, I imported my 24p clip to my 60p timeline and the blur/ghosting went away when disabling resample, so it works both ways – I’m guessing Vegas is just duplicating frames on the 24p to match my 60p output –
I know if I want 24p or 60p I should just shoot in that frame rate – but if I plan on mixing these two rates again should I still be at 180 shutter or is my 60p to 24p conversion still Ok with 1/125 ?
I’ve learned 60p is just better for slow motion in general – I see a difference in slowed down 24p footage compared to 60 – is why I ask about the shutter angle –

That being said – the other way around
Would I have to Disable Resample on my 24p events in a 60p project so that Vegas doesn’t frame blend them in my 60p render?

So that being said – I could drop all of my 60p and 24p footage both on a 24p timeline from the get go and do all my 0.25x and 0.4x playback on both frame ratea as healthy as my past 60 time line editing?

A better way to ask would be –
Whats the difference of me delivering 60p footage at 0.4 or 0.25x playback as as 60p
    vs
60p normal speed straight up delivered as 24p (because I’m mixing with other 24p) –
But I read there’s my technique of 60p at 0.4x playback is the same thing as turning it into 24p but isn’t it still just slowed down 60p footage on my 60p timeline – ?
Or do I render that first as 60p (or 24p?!) to put it on a 24p project to deliver?
I’m shooting all 60p footage at 1/125 shutter speed – and all 24p at 1/50 – That may come into affect as well

    I’ve exported an XAVC S HD 1080 Long-GOP
It is 7 minutes long and 2.92 GB in size
It seems this will be a good intermediate for me to work with.

So, When exporting to the preset Internet HD 1080 – its now lowering to 12Mb for web loading time –
it will obviously lower the size – but should I change that to 25Mb or something in the middle or closer to my a7s’ 50Mb? Is it sort of a sweet spot kind of thing? Like adjusting latency from an audio interface?

Lastly – perhaps either of you good fellas can save me and another guy over at this thread linked here – haha –

    Thanks

Ah yes indeed. Thank you – I’m starting to get it
So my XAVC S bitrate is fine to stabilize/grade the first time to a lossless or near lossless intermediate file –
but why would my final render want to be the Internet 1080 12Mb to upload to Vimeo ?
Because of file size? People have complained that my loading times are long – not their internet speed’s fault but my 3 minute video should be closer to 100MB than 500MB

I’m also curious on this riddle –

First off – my 60p is your 50p
The way I’ve learned to slow down 60p footage is
right clicking the event > Properties >
I change the playback rate to 0.4 and then I click Disable Resample –
This is on a 60p project timeline – So I render that at 60p still – or does changing it to 24p as the export even matter? Does that change the look of “perfect slow motion” if not exported at 60p still?
but when I hear people say they film 60p only for slow motion – but every video is final output of 24p
How is my rendered 60p 0.4X playback reacting to this?
