It works sort of, but the problem is that the waves are uniform in height and the kind of wave I am trying to achieve, if you see the previous drawing, it’s not , I think that it is because the script is working with volume and not the audio frequency like in the effects that come with After Effects.

Hello my friends. I am trying to make an effect that will make these sine waves react to and audio track. Any ideas how this can be accomplished? The default plugins that come with After Effects don’t have this kind of lines. Thank you for your help.

I would suggest you to use Image Processor script in Photoshop. To resize all your images before using them in After Effects. This script can resize a bunch of images very fast and easy.

Try adding an adjustment layer with the Add Grain effect. You can also try changing the project settings to 16-bit.

Why don’t you expand the artboard in illustrator? Select the layer with the problem n After effects, press CRTL + E. This will open Illustrator. Go to Artboard editing mode and expand the artboard to your liking. Save and go back to After Effects. The problem should be solved. I hope this helps. Cheers!

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago. I almost had a heart attack. Renaming the files to shorter names and replacing them in the project helped me save the project. There is software to rename multiple filenames, I’ve used Name Mangler in the past https://manytricks.com/namemangler/
