<p>No I do not have other footage I am cutting with, this is a personal project that I am cutting at home.</p>
<p>I have managed to sort of make it look ok, but it&#8217;s definately not as good as solving the incompatible codec issue.</p>

I followed the info and although it’s close to solving the problem, it falls short of correcting the colour issue and still requires some quite tricky colour correction after ingest. <p>It does go towards solving part of the problem.</p>
<p>When adjusted in Resolve, the colour is improved a bit, but it still looks incorrect, like the gamma is skewed somehow. It feels like my Mac may need a plug in or something to make sense of the IPhone footage. Also the exported clips from Resolve are absolutely huge, 500gig +&hellip;</p>

<p>I have some Iphone footage shot in an Iphone 13 Pro.</p>
<p>The codec it was shot on is AAC, Timed Metadata, HEVC.</p>
<p>I am having trouble ingesting into Media Composer 2023.12.0 on my MAC Dustbin, 12.6 Monterey.</p>
<p>The footage looks perfect on the drive, but everything I try ends up wuth the footage looking washed out and incorrect.</p>

<p>The files I received are MP4&#8217;s. I have been converting them in Wondershare converter to MOVS.</p>
<p>I have tried XVID, AVI and H.264 but when I try and import them nothing happens, I try and ama link them but the CONSOLODATE button is grayed out.</p>

<p>Thanks for the advice, I see what you mean about the new title tool, it’s really buggy isn’t it?</p>
<p>I not too impressed with the quality either, I’ve been doing them in photoshop instead.</p>
