hello…
well – a few things could work – one would be a universal “movie” icon (typically a bit of film) – so something like one of these:
https://images.google.com/images?q=movie&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&client=safari&rls=en-us&sa=N&imgsz=icon
but then also i’d suggest maybe adding a resolution and file size – so like this (using html for example, and just swiping an image from the google search for the sake of this exercise):
Sample Movie
320×240 – 3.5 Mbjust a suggestion… 🙂

mitch…
there is no and never has been a lower interest level at this site for mac users than pc users. ron is enaging you in a longer discussion of this point, but the bottom line is that there is no difference.
i have the q function in my list of to-do’s. i do not work at the cow full-time, and so unfortunatley, there is a bit of a lag time sometimes when certain os or browser upgrades break functionality.
it should be resolved this week. in the interim, please let’s just end the discussion of a “pc bias” at the cow because it’s just not there.

hello…
too many cow cookies set (usually a case of marking many many many threads as read)…try deleting creative cow cookies (some of ’em at least) and this will go away…
safari gets grumpy with too many cookies, set, unfortunately…

might be a case of rtfm, unfortunately – they have a lot of info on their site:

hello…
they’ve claimed “improved support” for ntfs since the 10.3.9, i believe (silently put in the release notes – another reason to always read those release notes) – i’m not sure if that included write, though…there are mixed beliefs on that all over the place, but apparently tiger (not running that yet here) does include write. so maybe 10.3.9 did as well…

hello…
unfortunately i don’t/can’t (due to time limitations) offer technical support for it – but that sort of message would tell me that you might have something wrong in your config area, and the result is that the browser is ending up in a redirect loop – so for example, you are accessing a page and it fails a session and tries to go to a login page, but the login page is redirecting back to that page (or something like that)…
without knowing your setup, seeing the conf file and knowing your browser, etc. and what other debugging you’ve done (i.e. does this happen in all browsers, platforms, etc.) then it’s hard to say – and if i knew that, i’d be doing tech support… 🙂
so the best thing i can offer is to double-check your config parameters and maybe try installing again…
(sorry – i wrote that as a one-off a long time ago for someone else here on the cow and i make it available, but i’m too busy to really support it very much…but if you want to post a link to a zip of your conf file (sans any sensitive data in it) then i can glance at it at some point for you and see if anything sticks out)
