My mask is coming in, then it is on the screen then the next second after it’s on screen for a while it just is gone I want it to hold in.

Thank you that has helped, I never knew there were layer styles like Photoshop until you mentioned them, there a good add-on for effects and so forth.

The problem is when you fill the path, AE only fills the stroke of the illustrator file not the inside of the illustrator file, is there a way to overcome this?

I’ve decided that I’ll get Premiere Elements, render each composition separate and then use elements to blend and transition together so I just have to render each composition separately, hopefully speeding things up.
