I really really dont!

This makes me want to colour correct within PP instead of using Color Finesse!

Unless I can save the correction for each shot as a preset which I can then apply to the new cut afterwards? Still quite long winded but would save a huge amount of time. Do you know if this is possible?

I haven’t tried it yet but this sounds like it good be the same issue. Thanks very much! I’ll give it a go soon.

I will definitely look into all of this. The problem is, I dont have any experience using this software so I was hoping to just be able to shoot it appropriately and make it work in After Effects.

I want the cameras to be real, ideally, as it ties in with the theme that runs throughout the film, so want to stay away from 3D models if possible.

If I filmed the cameras going past the screen and then looped it with an alpha, do you think I could then replicate that and animate them in After Effects?

Yeah that I was worrying about that as well. I may adjust the shot slightly so its lower and looking over the front side of the boat but not into the boat itself.

The first shot does look straight down into the boat. I’m thinking I’ll have to take some material into the studio and composite the bench onto the shot.

There is no camera movement, fortunately!

haha well its one of those shoots where a lot of things could go wrong so I really want to make sure everything is sorted before we get in the studio.

That’s good to hear. I was worried about the perspective if we used a mask but after drawing it out like you said I think I can see how we’d get the character to sit in front of the image when shooting the green-screen.

Feeling a bit more confident now, thanks!

Awesome.. I thought that it would be a wipe. Now that I know what it is I’m describing, do you think you could possibly tell me how to do that in final cut pro? ..Sorry, I’m new to final cut 🙂
