I get this error when trying to export out to H.264 from a Mac Pro 12 core with Quadro 4000:

H.264 Encoding on Mac32 doesn’t support resolution beyond 1440×1080

When it comes to final render out to compressed file formats the CPU power is what counts. BM does a great job of utilizing every multicore on a 12 core Mac Pro. I doubt your render out speeds would increase significantly without making an upgrade to a 12 core. Currently at “1/2 resolution good” WITHOUT a RED rocket card.. I’m getting 18fps out to Apple Pro Res 4444. The original source media is RED 4k. I’m getting such good realtime debayers and renders on a 12 core that I doubt I need a RED Rocket Card. Thanks Noah! I myself thought that it could not due to the general slow down issue of GPU to SDI. Was just wondering if Kona 3 had some onboard processing to somehow enable this.

I’ve found the solution… didn’t notice that droplets autosave changed settings on exit.
